  • 3 day desert tour to Merzouga from Marrakesh

    Day 1 Marrakesh – Aït-ben-Haddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges

    Departure from Marrakech to the Todgha gorge, we will cross the Tizi N’tichka mountains with lunch along the way.

    Visit of the Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou an old palace, marked as world heritage by unesco, after lunch we will continue to Ouarzazate and departure for the Todgha gorges, passing through Skoura, enchanting Morocco oasis, the Dades gorges.

    Arrival in the afternoon to the gorges and short hike to the gorges (1 hour walk), dinner and overnight stay in a typical riad.

    Day 2 Toudra gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga desert camel trek

    After visiting the Todgha gorges, we will head towards the dunes of Merzouga, stopping in an archaeological area where there are many prehistoric fossils, lunch in Rissani, a typical Berber village with an ancient Kasbah.

    Afternoon arrival in Merzouga and sunset with dromedary back. Dinner and overnight in Merzouga in a nomadic bivouac in Erg Chebi, evening with traditional Saharaoui music from the desert.

    Day 3 Merzouga – Alnif – Draa valley – Agdez – Tichka pass – Marrakech

    Departure from Merzouga to Ouarzazate, along the route we will cross the Berber villages of Anif and Tazarine, with the beautiful palm grove and sites of rock carvings and pre-Islamic tombs, where we will resume the road to the Draa valley, arrive in Agdez and cross the mountains of the small Atlas.

    Lunch and afternoon visit to the Kasbah of Taourirte. Located in Ouarzazate, an ancient UNESCO-listed Berber Kasba that has kept its original architecture and rhythms intact. Return in the evening to Marrakech.
